What is a group break?
A group break is a method where collectors share the contents of packs, a box, or even an entire case of cards by distributing the product according to teams, players, or another distribution system .
This allows participants to have high-quality products opened in a live stream while paying only a fraction of the total cost .
How do I participate in a break?
Visit the OhSnap! Breaks page and secure your spot by buying a team, a player, or a slot in a Pick Your Team or Random Team Break .
When does my break take place?
You will receive an email from us informing you when the break takes place. The breaks start at 7:30 pm German time and continue into the evening.
We usually do live breaks on Twitch on Wednesdays . Breaks outside of these times will be announced in advance .
When will I receive my tickets?
After a break is completed, all cards are carefully sleeved, placed in toploaders and sorted .
Orders will be shipped within two working days of the break or stored in our warehouse/vault until you request shipment of your order.
Which cards do you send?
We always send out ALL cards from the break.
Where can I watch the break and see which teams I have?
We stream on Twitch . Simply create a free account on twitch.tv to participate in the live chat and interact during breaks .

I missed the break - where can I see what I drew?
Past breaks are recorded and immediately available on our Twitch channel . You can watch them anytime – your tickets will of course still be sent to you by post .
What types of breaks do you offer?
We offer various break formats so that there is something for every collector:
- Team Breaks:
You buy a single team from a complete box or case. Team prices are determined by market demand. Ideal for fans of specific teams or players. - Random Breaks:
All teams cost the same and are randomly assigned before the product is opened. Perfect if you like variety and surprises. - Team Draft Breaks:
All teams are priced equally, and the draft order is randomly determined before the break. Participants then select their teams – similar to fantasy sports drafts. - Hit Draft Breaks:
All participation slots have the same price. After the break, participants select the prizes (e.g., autographed or special cards) in a randomly determined order. - Mixers:
A mix of boxes from different years or brands within a single sport. Ideal for adding more variety to your collection.
What do I get when I buy a group break slot?
Purchasing a slot in OhSnap! Breaks does not entitle you to a complete box or case . It is a shared Group Break , where you receive the cards of the team, random team, or player you purchased.
All cards assigned to your team or player during the break will be sent to you afterwards.
What happens if my team doesn't get any tickets?
If your team doesn't receive any cards , we'll send you random cards or a sealed pack at our discretion. During our breaks, everyone gets something – no one goes away empty-handed .
No purchase necessary: You can also receive randomly placed cards through manufacturer offers marked "No Purchase Necessary" . Details can be found on the respective card packaging.
How do I know that everything is legitimate?
All breaks are streamed live on Twitch . No pre-recorded material is used.
The boxes and cases are opened live , and the entire process remains continuously shown on screen to ensure maximum transparency.
You can participate and interact in real time at any time via the live chat .
How do I know that your randomization is fair?
We use Random.org or wheelofnames.com for all randomization.
Each randomization includes a timestamp and a validation link to ensure the process remains transparent and traceable .
You have just pulled a card with multiple teams, autographs or relics, and multiple players. Who gets the card?
The following distribution is made:
- The team at the top, left, or top left on the card receives it automatically.
- If multiple copies of the same card are drawn, we try to distribute them alternately so that all teams represented on the card have a chance to receive a card.
Reason:
In P1G1, P1G2, Random, or Draft Breaks, at the beginning, every participant has the same chance to receive every team. Therefore, after the initial team assignment, no further randomization of the card is necessary.
Pick your Team Breaks
For multi-team or multi-player cards in Pick your Team Breaks, the allocation is as follows:
- Each team or player on the card receives entries in the randomizer corresponding to the amount paid for that team or player.
Example:
A card shows Giants, Dodgers, and A's with the following amounts:
- Giants: €50
- Dodgers: €100
- A's: €30
The randomizer is weighted accordingly:
- Giants: 50 entries
- Dodgers: 100 entries
- A's: 30 entries
After 8 randomizations, the team at the top of the list receives the card.
How are players without a professional team assigned to the card?
Some college or unlicensed cards do not show an MLB team or city on the card.
In this case, the following applies:
- The player is assigned to the team they played for at the time of the product release.
- For retired players, the team for which the player played the most years is used – not the team they last played for.
Even if a product is opened months or years after its release, the assignment always remains the team at the time of the product's original release date.
How do you send your cards?
We place great importance on fast shipping and high-quality packaging .
All cards of value – including numbered cards, relics, autographs, or particularly beautiful cards – are carefully protected:
- Penny Sleeve
- Toploader or Magnetic Holder
- then sealed in a team bag to prevent the card from slipping out during transport.
Smaller orders are shipped in padded mailers (bubble mailers) .
We ship larger orders in sturdy cardboard boxes .
All packages are shipped with tracking and are insured up to €500 .
