Hi, I'm Juliane – but in the hobby community, I'm known as Janni.
With OhSnap! – Cards & Collectibles, I've brought to life a project I've been actively working on since mid-2025. What began as an idea a few years ago is now my own online shop for trading cards – built with a lot of passion, structure, and a clear commitment to quality.
How I got into this hobby
I've been actively involved in the trading card hobby since the beginning of 2023. However, my enthusiasm for cards and collecting goes back much further:
- During my childhood I collected Pokémon cards (like probably most people in the hobby)
- My love for comics developed in my youth – and continues to this day. Especially Batman and Hulk series.
- In 2023, my love for baseball, the Los Angeles Angels, and especially Mike Trout sparked a new collecting passion: baseball cards.
From there, the hobby quickly grew.
What I collect
The trading card universe is diverse – and that's exactly what fascinates me.
Besides baseball, I also collect, among other things:
- Ice hockey (Anaheim Ducks)
- American football (Los Angeles Rams)
- Non-sports cards such as Pokémon, DC, Marvel, white black
- And I occasionally play Magic: The Gathering.
The hobby offers exciting sets, special designs, rare parallels and great stories in almost every area – I want to reflect exactly this diversity in the shop.
Profession meets passion
Professionally, I work in customer retention marketing for a large German training provider. Design, strategy, structure, customer experience, and sustainable customer relationships are my daily business there.
With OhSnap! I combine my professional experience with what is important to me in my hobby.
I know how it feels to wait for a break.
I know how frustrating unclear processes can be.
And I know how important trust is in this hobby.
